I have not used a higher-end one; I had one with resistance, but I have used it to simulate my routes through GPX and at home just like riding a bike. When there is no time, it works well. I am using a 7V cassette, I just added an extra spacer and it works well.

After 500 km of use, I can say that it works perfectly, it rolls very smoothly, and in ports it shows the hardness as it actually does. It pairs perfectly with MyWhoosh, heart rate monitor, Garmin Fenix 7, etc.

It worked with my phone and Chromecast to the TV, in my case the brackets and straps fit very tightly but they don't touch the roller (by 2 mm).

It doesn't make noise and doesn't vibrate.

Assembly is very easy (instructions in French), however the ThinkRider app is in English and Chinese, which makes setting up the home trainer a bit confusing, but you can figure it out quickly. I have currently installed one of my mountain bikes to test the X2Max on My Whoosh, and it works very well. I am waiting for the delivery of my 12-speed road cassette so I can install it on my road bike. For me, it's a connected device of very good quality, especially at this price; normally, you would have to invest between 600 and 800 euros for an equivalent product.

I've been using it for a week, it's great. It connects without any problems to Mywhoosh and my Magene c606 for specific workouts. It only moves if you make very strong efforts, but I recommend using a thick rubber mat underneath so it doesn't move as much.

The packaging in which the trainer was sent was also brilliant—reinforced corners and sufficient padding—truly impressive. When comparing the Think Rider x2 Max with a Van Rysel d100, the Max is better for the environment. Higher incline and higher wattage are possible with this without making any other compromises. Additionally, it's even a bit cheaper if you cleverly snag it during a sale. With My Woosh, it has worked great so far. The Think Rider Tool itself is also excellent. The updates can be done super quickly.

Excellent, it arrived earlier than indicated and in perfect condition. Assembly is simple and comes with everything needed for various types of axle, the connection with MyWhoost is perfect on the first try, and the performance is correct; it hardens on uphill rides and with simulated wind against you, and softens on flat or downhill rides.

The communication with the seller was perfect; I wanted to mount it on an old 3x7 speed bike, and he told me which additional spacers I should buy, and it turned out perfectly with the 7-speed 12-28 cassette.

Very well packed, arrived not damaged. After 4h of riding impressions are very positive - quite, it's connecting super fast with pc, it is fluent in force increasing. It works very well with mywhoosh platform. It's a good robust perceived quality
The downside for me is the fitting of the qr axle - very loose connection (normal locking force leaves a bit of play). But after applying a bit more force on qr any play or noise disappears.
I'll get back with some more thoughts after more hours of winter riding.

Since I have an older bike with 7 gears at the back, I had it set up at the bike shop right away - worked perfectly, 1 day, EUR 50.00 incl. new cassette!

The impression is great: super stable, super quiet, everything seems quite high-quality. Winter training on my own bike - I'm very happy that I did that. The previously purchased home trainer will be sent back again :-

A spacer used to align the 11V freewheel. The chain fits perfectly without touching the derailleur.
Other spacers are provided for the screw-in thru axles. Not tried yet.
Tried it for 5 minutes with MyWoosh, detection is immediate and operation perfect.
I recommend.

First test run: noise within normal range, quite stable I tried pedaling even standing up and it doesn't seem to move much! The software is excellent, it connected immediately without issues to all major platforms (Garmin / Zwift). Currently highly recommended for its excellent quality/price ratio.
