RYZEN 7 H 255 CPU
The Ryzen 7 H 255 is a chip from the Hawk Point family and is an upgraded version of the older Ryzen 7 8745H and has 8 cores (16 threads thanks to SMT support) that run at up to 4.9 GHz, together with the powerful Radeon 780M iGPU. Unlike Zen 3, Zen 4 offers AVX512 support along with other improvements such as larger caches/registers/buffers across the board.

The assembly is very simple. only the cable from the RAM + NVME cover is a bit short.

Actually, I'm quite satisfied.
Now we just need to replace the RAM fan on the 3D printer and install a good CPU fan.
Maybe I'll completely rebuild the device. new case with adapter for a Noctua fan. Let's see.
Processor performance is similar to a 7735hs (other minipc owned) and temperatures are lower (max. 73c on cpu and 39c on ram) since this one uses a better cooling system due to an increased dimensions which allows a bigger secondary fan. I cannot test 3d performance but it would be the one expected for a 780m igpu being greater compared to the 680m on the 7735hs.
Installed windows 11 ltsc iot without issues and all drivers have been downloaded using sdio (snappy driver installer origin) through an ethernet connection, then the wifi and bluetooth devices are properly recognised.
