I honestly wish i had given x99 a try sooner. It’s been great for windows and linux. I intended to purchase this motherboard for a quick pc flip but i noticed how cheap lga 2011 are going now on ebay. You can find used xeons with high core counts for very cheap. I will be using this for a home server project.

Motherboard is good, but try to put fans on the VRMs in every X99. I put it in mine and the board runs everything with a 2680v4 and it’s very good. It came well packaged.
